Gauged porcelain panels are rapidly gaining popularity, and for this reason, RUBI offers the professional a collection of tools designed specifically, to cover and solve the peculiarities of these special materials.
The RUBI SLAB SYSTEM G2 is composed firstly of solutions for tile panel installation, like the RUBI SLIM CUTTER G2, for scoring and snapping large format porcelain panels. The SLAB TRANS HEAVY DUTY N, for the handling and installation of thin gauged panels. the SLAB TROLLEY for transportation and logistics and the new SLAB TABLE VERSA-TILE for cutting and fabrication.
The cutting system RUBI SLAB CUTTER G2 is specially designed for the manual cutting of porcelain sheets of large formats and thicknesses between 1/8" (3mm) and 1/4" (6mm). For thicknesses equal to or greater than 1/4" it is necessary to use the SLIM SEPARATOR. For thickness equal to or greater than 3/8" (9.5mm) it may be necessary to use the Rubi TC-125 G2 Circular Saw (Part # 51977) in order to cut through the slab.
